Peter Nero

We at ACI are extremely proud that Peter chose ACI for his personal speaker system. Peter is a multiple Grammy award winner who has achieved the highest levels as a virtuoso (master) pianist, Pops conductor, arranger, and composer. 

He recorded his first album in 1961 and won a Grammy that year for "Best New Artist." Since then, he has received another Grammy Award, garnered 10 additional nominations, and recorded 67 albums. Peter has appeared on television many times including numerous appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show and the Tonight Show. 

One of Nero's greatest achievements is being the founding Music director of the world renowned Philly Pops,  the largest independent pops orchestra in the country. The Pops, which celebrated their 25th anniversary last fall, recently marked their fifth (first) season as a resident company at the new Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts.
